Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Resident Engineer to join our technical team based in the Smart Village. In this role, you will be embedded directly within a major enterprise client's environment, serving as the trusted technical expert for their network operations. You will be responsible for ensuring network stability, leading troubleshooting efforts, and optimizing network performance using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations: Act as the primary technical point of contact for day-to-day enterprise network support and operations.

Incident Management: Lead troubleshooting efforts, perform deep root-cause analysis (RCA), and resolve critical network incidents to minimize downtime.

Infrastructure Management: Configure, maintain, and optimize network devices across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments.

Vendor Operations: Hands-on management and configuration of network devices from major vendors, with a heavy focus on Cisco and Juniper Networks.

Security & Optimization: Maintain firewalls, enforce network security concepts, and implement network performance optimization strategies.

Automation & Monitoring: Utilize network monitoring tools and basic automation to proactively identify anomalies and streamline operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Experience:

3+ years of solid experience in network operations, infrastructure support, and enterprise environments.

Proven track record in incident management and structured troubleshooting.

Technical Mastery:

Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.

Expert knowledge of routing and switching technologies (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP).

Familiarity with essential network services (DNS, DHCP, NAT), network security, and access control concepts.

Experience with network monitoring, management tools, and network automation.

Preferred Certifications

Juniper: JNCIA / JNCIP (Highly Preferred)

Cisco: CCNA / CCNP (Highly Preferred)

Network Security certifications are considered a strong advantage.
