SecurityCamel – Fully Remote
SecurityCamel is an early-stage startup building a cross-platform mobile game (Android & iOS) using CapacitorJS and PixiJS.
The game is a cybersecurity-themed, hacking-style educational experience, where players learn and apply real-world security concepts through interactive gameplay.
We’re looking for a Junior JavaScript Developer who wants to grow fast, and work directly on a live game project.
What you’ll work on:
• Developing a mobile game using CapacitorJS and PixiJS
• Implementing gameplay features and UI
• Contributing to internal tools (NextJS-based)
• Collaborating on ideas around game design and mechanics
• Most development will be pure-JavaScript development with CapacitorJS that is not involved with the other frameworks or tools mentioned above
Requirements:
• 0–3 years of experience with JavaScript
• Solid understanding of core JavaScript concepts
• Interest in games, cybersecurity, or interactive applications
Nice to have:
• Experience with PixiJS or other rendering/game libraries (e.g. Phaser, Three.js)
• Familiarity with CapacitorJS or mobile app deployment
• Experience with NextJS or building internal tools/dashboards
• Basic understanding of game development concepts (game loops, state management, performance)
• Interest in cybersecurity (e.g. CTFs, basic networking, or security concepts)
• Experience with WebGL shader development (although you will not be writing any, but understanding existing code would be helpful)
