Senior Transmission & Network Engineer

We’re Hiring: Senior Transmission & Network Engineer | ACTEL Communication S.A.E.

ACTEL Communication S.A.E. is expanding its technical team, and we are looking for a highly skilled and committed Senior Transmission & Network Engineer to join our fast-growing organization.

This is a role for true professionals—engineers who can manage, optimize, and elevate complex transmission infrastructures across national-level projects.

 If you have strong hands-on experience with Huawei RTN 950 and Huawei OSN 1800 (MUX E6608/16) and enjoy solving challenging network problems, we want to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of our engineering team, you will:

Design, configure, and optimize DWDM, OTN, SDH, and Microwave transmission networks.

Perform link engineering, capacity planning, and transmission performance analysis.

Ensure seamless integration across core, access, and transmission layers.

Lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault resolution to ensure service reliability.

Collaborate with vendors, project teams, and internal stakeholders on expansions and upgrades.

Prepare BOQs, documentation, network reports, ATRs, and all required technical deliverables.

Support commissioning, testing, and validation of optical and microwave links across diverse environments.

 What We’re Looking For

Minimum 4 years of solid experience in Transmission Installation & Commissioning.

Proven hands-on experience with Huawei RTN 950 and Huawei OSN 1800 (MUX E6608/16).

Strong knowledge of SDH (VC-12, VC-4), optical transport principles, and transmission topologies.

Proficiency in OTDR testing, fiber fault analysis, and link characterization.

Experience in working with Network Management Systems (NMS).

Familiarity with DWDM systems is highly desirable.

Preferred But Not Mandatory

Huawei HCIA – Transmission certification.
