Position: Sr. Systems & Cloud Engineer

Role Overview:

The Senior Systems and Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing IT systems across on-premise and cloud environments (OCI, Azure, GCP). This role supports enterprise infrastructure operations, automation, security, and compliance while ensuring seamless integration between systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

☁️ Cloud & On-Premise Infrastructure

Lead cloud migration projects; manage infrastructure in OCI, Azure, and GCP.

Provision and maintain VMs, containers, and storage.

Manage VMware environments; troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers.

Integrate on-prem systems with cloud platforms.

 

???? Systems & Office 365 Administration

Administer Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP.

Configure and manage Office 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).

Manage user accounts, licenses, and mailbox policies.

 

???? Security & Identity Operations

Manage Intune for MDM and endpoint compliance.

Enforce device policies and respond to malware/endpoint threats.

Implement Azure AD, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and PAM solutions.

Apply DLP and retention policies; monitor compliance with data regulations.

 

⚙️ Automation & Monitoring

Develop PowerShell/Bash/Python scripts for automation.

Optimize system performance and resource utilization.

Use tools like SolarWinds for proactive monitoring and alerting.

 

???? Security & Compliance

Perform security audits, vulnerability scans, and support SIEM/PAM integration.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NCA).

 

???? Collaboration & Support

Coordinate with IT, security, and operations teams.

 

Support incident response, performance tuning, and participate in on-call rotation.

 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

 

Experience: 4+ years in systems/cloud administration (O365, Exchange, Azure/GCP/OCI).

Technical Skills: VMware, Active Directory, PowerShell, DNS/DHCP, Intune, Azure AD, DLP.

 

Certifications (Preferred):

Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator

Cloud certifications (Azure, GCP, OCI)

 

Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
