Title: IT Manager 

Location: Port Said, Egypt 

 

Job Summary

An IT Manager oversees the technology operations of an organization, ensuring that all IT systems run smoothly and efficiently while managing a team of IT professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee IT Operations: Manage the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring that all systems are functional and secure.

· Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs

· Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the executive team each quarter.

· Team Management: Lead and develop a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

· Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals. 

· Creating rational strategies for upgrading the company’s network software whenever a new update is available

· Constructing and implementing plans to ensure the company’s network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem

· Budget Management: Manage the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.

· Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

· Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues within the organization. 

· Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network

· Security Oversight: Ensure the security of the organization's data and IT infrastructure, implementing necessary security measures and protocols.

Qualifications

· Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required. 

· Experience: 12 to 15 years of experience in IT, with a background in roles such as Network Administrator, Systems Analyst, or IT Consultant.

· Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

· Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.

· Leadership Skills: Excellent managerial and communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other departments.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Fluent in English and Arabic.
