???? Job Summary:
A Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting the core IT infrastructure of an organization. This includes networks, servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, cloud services, and security systems.
???? Key Responsibilities:
???? Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, networks, virtualization).
???? Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and security.
???? Lead infrastructure-related projects and system upgrades.
???? Troubleshoot complex issues across IT systems (hardware, software, networks).
????Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
????Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place.
????Manage cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
????Collaborate with IT security to implement and enforce policies and controls.
????Document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
????Mentor junior team members.
???? Qualifications:
????Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
????5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles
????Certifications (preferred):
-Microsoft (e.g., Azure Administrator, MCSA)
-Cisco (e.g., CCNA, CCNP)
-VMware (e.g., VCP)
-ITIL Foundation
