Job Title: Senior Solaris & Linux Administrator

Location: Dubai

Salary: AED 15,000 – 18,000

Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior Solaris & Linux Administrator for a leading government client in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience with expertise across Solaris (60%) and Linux (40%) environments. The role involves managing over 200+ RHEL servers, automating system tasks, and leading complex infrastructure initiatives, including virtualization, clustering, and cloud migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer Red Hat, Oracle Linux, Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX platforms

- Design and maintain HA clusters (Sun Cluster, Red Hat Cluster)

- Lead virtualization efforts using LDoms, Zones, OVM, VMware, VPars

- Implement automation using Shell Scripting and Ansible

- Manage Oracle PCA and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

- Drive vulnerability management, system hardening, and patching

- Lead infrastructure migration and optimization projects

- Provide 24/7 production support and mentor Unix/Linux support teams

Certifications Preferred:

- Red Hat Certified Specialist (Containers & Kubernetes)

- Sun Solaris Certified

- Microsoft Azure Administrator

- ITIL v3 Foundation (Preferred)
