IT Technical Support

IT Technical Support—L2 Engineer" is required now for the largest leading international companies that are based in KSA and own a large fleet of vessels to provide safe transportation solutions and maritime services to clients across various sectors, such as major oil companies, chemical producers, leading government utilities, and commodity traders worldwide.

????work location: the company's office in Cairo, First Settlement

• Full time on site job + 2 Days off

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Address and resolve technical issues that have been escalated from L1 support.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems involving hardware, software, and network systems.

• Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they impact operations.

• Maintain accurate records of incidents, changes, and configurations.

• Work closely with other IT teams to support overall IT infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and perform regular security assessments.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1 engineers.

 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

• At least 3+ years of experience in technical support or network engineering.

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.

• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

• Experience with firewall management and network security.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).

• Knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).

• Strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
