Location: Dubai
Reports To: IT Manager / Service Delivery Manager
Job Purpose:
Provide L1 IT support, ensuring smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security, and endpoints, while meeting SLAs and maintaining high user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Network:
• Manage Windows Servers (2016–2022), Ubuntu, and RHEL systems.
• Support firewalls (Fortinet, SonicWall), switches, VLANs, and storage (StorageCraft).
• Maintain IP PABX, CCTV, and printers.
Email & User Management:
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and remote access.
Virtualisation & Tools:
• Manage VMware and Hyper-V environments.
• Use ITSM tools (ConnectWise, SCCM) for ticketing and patching.
Endpoint Support:
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and OS (Windows 10/11, Ubuntu, RHEL).
Performance & Security:
• Monitor infrastructure health, apply patches, and enforce security best practices.
Database & Procurement:
• Oversee database backups and access controls.
• Manage hardware procurement and IT asset inventory.
Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure SLA adherence, prepare reports, and maintain documentation.
Key Skills:
Technical:
• Expertise in Windows Server, networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), firewalls, VLANs, MS 365, Google Workspace, virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), and databases.
Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational abilities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in IT or related field.
• Certifications (CCNA, MCSA, VMware, ITIL
