ICT/Telecoms Engineer

Urgent Requirement | ICT/Telecoms Engineer – Oil & Gas Sector | Qatar

We are hiring for a Role on a 12-month extendable contract with a leading project in the Oil & Gas sector.

???? Job Purpose:

Provide ICT/Telecommunications technical expertise during all project phases and ensure operational support in the post-implementation phase.

???? Job Responsibilities Include:

Review ICT, Telecoms, security systems & AV systems documentation (installation/testing/commissioning).

Conduct regular site visits to verify installations meet operational requirements.

Support and update procedures for hardware, networks, and OS.

Perform routine and non-routine operations for data processing and networking equipment.

Monitor, log, and report issues, escalate as necessary.

Use management tools to collect stats and generate reports.

Handle routine and emergency troubleshooting, installation, and reconfiguration tasks.

Support incident resolution and maintain service continuity.

???? Qualifications & Experience:

High Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electrical & Electronics, or related.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Telecoms (preferably in Oil & Gas).

Knowledge of ICT core skills, standards, project management, and support operations.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills.
