In Taly for digital payments, we are looking forward hiring a Linux System Administrator to ensure system stability, security, and efficiency. The absence of a specialized administrator can lead to system downtime, security vulnerabilities, and operational inefficiencies, impacting overall business continuity.
* Linux System Administrator will be responsible for:
-System Uptime & Reliability: Ensuring 99.9% uptime of mission-critical servers.
-Security & Compliance: Implementing security patches, monitoring vulnerabilities, and enforcing best practices.
-Performance Optimization: Fine-tuning system resources for optimal performance.
-Automation & Cost Efficiency: Utilizing automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Bash scripting) to reduce manual effort and operational costs.
-Support & Troubleshooting: Providing 24/7 support to minimize service disruptions.
-Support & Troubleshooting Oracle WebLogic, middleware
* Core Technical Skills required:
· Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, Debian, SUSE)
· UNIX System Administration
· Bash/Shell Scripting
· Automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
· Configuration Management
· System Monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)
· Server Hardening & Security
· Patch Management & Updates
· LVM (Logical Volume Manager)
· RAID Configuration
· Load Balancing & High Availability (HA Proxy, Keepalive)
· Backup & Recovery (rsync, Bacula, Veeam)
· Virtualization (VMware, KVM, Proxmox)
· Cloud Platforms (Azure)
· Networking (DNS, DHCP, IP Tables, Firewalls)
· Web Servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat)
· Database Administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
* Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology, computer engineering or related field preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience with Linux system administration and automation.
