Network Engineer

Essential Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or relevant field.

- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP are a must; ITIL, Network+, Microsoft Networking, CISA (preferred).

 

Experience Required:

- Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in information security, networking, and data center, focusing on security, performance, and reliability.

- Expertise in managing and configuring Cisco Switches and Routers, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Palo Alto, and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.

 

Technical Skills:

- Deep knowledge of Microsoft AD, DNS, SMTP, Linux, Windows servers, VMware, Hypervisor, backups, NAS, SAN, and Office 365.

- Excellent knowledge of network and security systems, virtualization, storage, and other infrastructure technologies.

- Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security.

- Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions such as SIEM/SOAR solutions, DLP, and vulnerability management tools.

 

Responsibilities:

- Ensure optimal performance and security of our IT infrastructure.

- Manage and optimize network and security devices, including device hardening and performance optimization.

- Stay ahead of IT risks with proactive deployment of advanced security solutions
