Telecommunications Network Engineer

Job Opportunity: Telecommunications Network Engineer "Egyptian only"

 

A leading Multinational Telecommunications Company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Network Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Location: Cairo, Egypt, hybrid 

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure for transmission and IP services.

Manage and troubleshoot IP/MPLS networks, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network services and resolve complex network issues.

management skills in handling projects 

Develop automation tools and scripts to improve network management processes.

 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communication and Electronic Engineering or related field.

Certifications in IP such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Transmission and IP technologies.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS protocols and technologies, including but not limited to: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, QOS, IP VPN

Proficient in Python or other programming languages to automate network functions and analysis.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

Desirable Attributes:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving technologies.
