IT Security Engineer

Position: Senior IT Security Engineer (Networking and Cybersecurity)

???? Job location: #Remote

Contract duration: Yearly renewable contract

 Job Description: -

• Knowledgeable in #networking and #cybersecurity domains particularly in trends, technologies, and standards

• Possesses in-depth understanding of IT operational risks and drives the response process in order to minimize the impact of these risks

• Skilled in defense, analysis, and response processes and systems related to cybersecurity

• Expertise in #SIEM, next generation firewall, and VPN deployment and administration

• Expertise in administering vendor provided cloud services

• Hands-on skills in #identity_management, #vulnerability_management, penetration testing, patching, policy compliance, and continuity management

• Proficiency in IoT security and familiarity with operational technology security in oil & gas industry

• Adept in using cyber security tools 

• Skilled in health, availability, and threat monitoring across the IT landscape

• Ability to identify, triage, diagnose, and manage incidents and resolve them where possible

• Certifications in SIEM, ethical hacking, vulnerability management desired

• Acquainted with applicable national and international regulatory requirements and standards

• Conversant with IT Service Management and service level reporting

• 7 years’ experience in relevant field

• Bi-lingual Arabic and English preferred
