Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer fluent in both Arabic and English. The role involves providing end-user support and maintenance for desktop computing environments, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring optimal performance of all equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and phone support for desktops/laptops.
-Troubleshoot and resolve printer/fax and hardware/software issues.
-Install, upgrade, and support operating systems (Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, MAC) and desktop applications.
- Handle service requests, computer setups, software installations, and upgrades.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation hardware.
- Perform preventative maintenance on computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Administer user accounts and handle data/application recovery (Active Directory).
- Collaborate with tier-3 support for escalated issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Should be fluent in both Arabic and English.
- Minimum 4 years of IT helpdesk support experience.
- Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems (Windows, MAC), and network connectivity.
- Experience with asset management tools (e.g., Lansweeper, SCCM).
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Must have a valid UAE Driver’s License.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience with Manage Engine tools (Desktop Central, OS Deployer, Mobile Device Management).
- Knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g., Manage Engine Service Desk Plus, Remedy).
- Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
Desirable:
-Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSE).
-ITIL V3 Certification.
-A+ and N+ Certifications are a plus.
