BO L1 Core Engineer

We're Hiring: BO L1 Core Engineer ????

????Location : Egypt

_____ Responsibilities:

???? Act as a Second Line MS Engineer for IMS, CS, UDC, and fixed domains.

???? Support project integration & new node acceptance.

???? Provide technical solutions for hardware & configuration issues within agreed timelines.

???? Perform specialized troubleshooting for IMS, CS, UDC & SS7 firewall issues.

???? Swiftly respond to network incidents & ensure accurate resolution.

???? Handle Customer Service Requests (CSRs) & provide end-to-end support.

???? Verify new solutions from the post-planning team.

???? Review & validate technical documentation (HLD, LLD, ATP, etc.).

???? Conduct test case verification for network compatibility.

???? Perform live migration of services & nodes with minimal disruption.

???? Lead major troubleshooting cases with other domains (e.g., EPC).

???? Conduct periodic audits on license-controlled nodes & monitor traffic changes.

???? Requirements:

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering.

✅ Experience in Voice Core, IMS & SS7 operations.

✅ Strong understanding of 2G/3G/LTE/IMS/EPC network architecture.

✅ Hands-on experience in O&M of Voice Core CS nodes (MSC, MGWs, STP, UDC, APG).

✅ IMS node troubleshooting experience (SBG, MTAS, CSCF, IPWORKS, EME).

✅ Knowledge of SS7 firewalls (preferably Adaptive Firewalls).

✅ Familiarity with 3GPP standards & protocols (SIP, Diameter, BICC, SIGTRAN, CAMEL, MAP, etc.).

✅ Understanding of Virtualization, Cloud NFVI & NFVO is a plus.

✅ Good command of English (written & spoken).

✅ Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).

✅ Flexible to work morning, noon & night shifts as needed.

✅ Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork & ability to work under pressure.

✅ Military service postponed or exempted (if applicable).

✅ Programming knowledge (Python preferred) is an advantage.
