Network Operations Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

. Internal network health check (Cores, SUPs, Stack, Switches, Modules, Power supplies, Fans)

. Check external network connectivity both Layer 2 and Layer 3 Connections which include EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and MPLS connectivity

. Support the wireless network solution

· Check Monitoring Tools available to ensure that all devices are ups and to push configurations if needed.

· Using Ticketing system tools to manage incidents and problem solving.

· Preventative Maintenance (PM)

· Check power consumption for all devices like switches, stacks, routers,…

· Check copper and fibers connectivity

· Test backup

· Monitoring and troubleshooting strange behaviors of network logs and traffic.

· Resolving daily tasks as per requests.

· Follow up daily tasks and opened cases.

· Providing daily health check report.

· Providing Weekly cases status.

· Providing monthly proactively reports (Vulnerabilities report, Analysis Report).

· Providing SLA and downtimes based on requirements and agreed process.

Job Requirements:

. Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or communication engineering

. At least 2-year experience in IT network field

. CCNP is must, and preferred to be CCNP-DC, ACI experience is plus

· Required knowledge in wireless networking

· Proven Hands-on experience on network (Routing and Switching) and troubleshooting skills

· Solid knowledge about Network concepts and technologies

· Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model

· Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS
