Network Support Engineer

-Monitor chat channels and follow a playbook for issue resolution.

-Escalate issues to the Cisco team if necessary.

 

Skills & Requirements:

-Experience: Entry-level #network_experience, including familiarity with #ISE.

-Support Scope: This may involve multiple site migrations, requiring ongoing staffing for each migration event.

 

Who Typically Performs This Role:

-L1 Service Desk Technicians: Typically, this role is carried out by entry-level network engineers or service desk agents who have basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.

-Skills: Those with a foundational understanding of networks, ISE, and migration processes. While the role is entry-level, familiarity with tools and troubleshooting procedures is beneficial.

-Team Collaboration: The technician will work alongside higher-level engineers or specialists, including those from Cisco, for escalation purposes.
