Senior IT Specialist
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Specialist to join our team and take a leadership role in managing our IT infrastructure and providing advanced technical support. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in troubleshooting complex issues, implementing IT solutions, and mentoring junior team members. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive IT initiatives that align with organizational goals.
Provide advanced technical support to internal users, resolving complex software and hardware issues, and offering expert guidance.
Design, implement, and maintain network devices, computer systems, and enterprise-level software applications.
Lead the training and onboarding of users for new software and technologies, ensuring seamless adoption across the organization.
Oversee the management of user desktops, laptops, and other devices, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance.
Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard systems and data, including vulnerability assessments and patch management.
Troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and in-depth analysis of system logs.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, system configurations, and user guides.
Mentor and guide junior IT staff, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Evaluate, purchase, and deploy new IT assets (hardware and software) based on organizational needs.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including tracking warranties, licenses, and lifecycle status.
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience with enterprise-level technologies such as Active Directory, Firewall, Endpoint Protection, and Cloud Platforms.
Professional certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, ITIL, or equivalent are highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
