Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will implement, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade various Microsoft technologies and virtualization platforms. You will work closely with relevant departments to make sure the smooth operation and high availability of our infrastructure are going well.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 * Design system architecture and infrastructure to meet business needs. implement, and maintain SCOM environments to monitor and manage various systems and applications.

 * Create and manage alerts, rules, and tasks to proactively identify and address issues.

 * Develop custom reports to provide insights into system performance and health.

 * Integrate SCOM with other monitoring tools and systems.

 * Deploy and manage software packages and applications across the organization.

 * Create and manage software distribution points and boundary groups.

 * Configure and manage client settings and policies.

 * Implement patch management strategies to ensure systems are up-to-date.

 * Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

 * Develop custom scripts to integrate SCOM and SCCM with other systems. 

 * Collaborate with other teams to identify and address root causes of problems.

 * Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to SCOM and SCCM.

 * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

 * Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

 * Resolve complex technical issues and inefficiencies.

 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.

 

Qualifications:

 

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 * Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering.

 * Proven experience with SCOM and SCCM, including installation, configuration, and administration.

 * Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems and networking concepts.

 * Familiarity with Windows Server and Active Directory.

 * Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages.

 * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 * Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).

 * Proven track record of managing and maintaining IT infrastructure.
