Technical Support Specialist

Mahmoud Elfar Market is currently hiring a ( Technical Support Specialist ) to join our information technology team . 

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Provide first line support on issues related to Operating system, connectivity, MS office including MS Outlook and Office IT equipment.

- Responsible for the day-to-day IT operations, scheduling and technical support of the company’s infrastructure and computers etc.

- Support the stores WAN & LAN environment and coordinate with Global & local vendors for support. 

- Work within country telecom providers to review and select best connectivity (Internet, WAN & Mobile services) solutions

- Accountable for support and maintenance of printers, Point Of Sale (POS) , Scales

- Installing, Configuring and supporting POS ( Point Of Sale ) Systems

- Have Knowledge in Retail Management System

⁠- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.

- Give technical support for all users as a first layer of support.

⁠- Experience in Office 365 support and maintenance.

 

Job requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT related degree .

- MCSA & CCNA is a preferred

- 6 months up to 2 years maximum of Experience as Technical Support ( supermarket exp preferred ).

- Good command of English language.

- Helpdesk and customer service background (First line support).

 

Working Conditions:

Working Days: 5 days / 2 days Off

Working hours: 9 h * Rotational shifts *
