Senior System Administrator
We are seeking a Senior System Administrator with a minimum of 7 years of experience to manage servers hosted on-premises, private, and public cloud environments.
The candidate must be flexible and responsive to after-hours calls related to server issues that may arise.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on Linux and Windows systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Candidate must have strong knowledge and experience with Docker
• Manage server settings, including Apache, IIS, Nginx, and Docker deployments.
• Monitor traffic, load balancing, and security, and implement SSL/TLS certificates.
• Track system performance, including CPU, storage, and network usage, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Apply regular updates and patches, coordinate downtime with clients, and address performance concerns.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS services, and third-party plugins, ensuring proper functionality and security.
• Oversee antivirus solutions, backup systems, and data encryption (motion, transit, and rest).
• Maintain detailed documentation, generate performance reports, and update IT policies.
• Manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with PDPL and GDPR regulations.
• Extensive experience with Windows and Linux shell commands.
• Manage server ports and IP address settings, including whitelisting rules for port and IP address control.
• Monitor and analyze traffic, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to optimize network performance.
• Monitor VPN performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security protocols.
• Troubleshoot DNS resolution problems and ensure reliable domain name service.
• Apply annual VAPT ensure the security and integrity of systems.
• Manage and administer FTP and SFTP accounts, ensuring secure file transfers and access control.
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively liaise with IT teams in data centers and clients, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
• Manage IP addresses, subnetting, NAT, IPv4, IPv6, and DHCP configurations to ensure efficient network connectivity.
• In Short, Responsible for all server tasks, including setup, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, and performance monitoring.
