* preferably transfer iqama

*Experience:* 5+ years 

 

*Job Summary:*

We are seeking a highly skilled *VMware & Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer* with strong experience in *VMware Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC)*, *OCI cloud services*, and *Veeam backup solutions*. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and supporting hybrid infrastructure solutions that integrate on-premises VMware environments with OCI.

*Key Responsibilities:*

 

- Design, deploy, and maintain *VMware SDDC* components (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vCenter, etc.).

- Implement and manage *OCI infrastructure* including compute, networking, storage, and identity services.

- Plan and execute *migration strategies* from on-prem to OCI, including VMware-to-OCI SDDC migrations.

- Administer and maintain *Veeam Backup & Replication* solutions across environments.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations.

- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance for hybrid environments.

- Automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager.

- Provide documentation, technical guidance, and support to internal teams.

*Required Skills & Qualifications:*

 

- Proven hands-on experience with *VMware vSphere*, *vCenter*, *vSAN*, *NSX-T*.

- Solid experience in *Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)* including *OCI SDDC*, *Networking*, *Block/Object Storage*, and *Identity domains*.

- Experience in *Veeam backup & recovery solutions*.

- Strong understanding of *hybrid cloud architectures* and *disaster recovery planning*.

- Knowledge of *virtual networking*, routing, and security best practices.

- Experience with scripting/automation tools: PowerCLI, Python, Terraform, etc.

- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

 

- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

- OCI Certified Architect or Specialist

- Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)

- Experience in enterprise-scale cloud migration projects
