Transmission Engineer

Monitor alarms and perform 1st level troubleshooting for #Ericsson and other vendor transmission nodes and links.

Handle transmission change requests for site interventions and Back Office actions.

Classify and dispatch alarms to the Field Maintenance team.

Provide technical support and guide FM teams for on-site issue resolution.

Escalate alarms to the Back Office team via the Service Manager tool.

Notify management and business units about system outages.

Create, update, and manage trouble tickets (TT) system.

Send out notification SMS for major outages and link failures.

Follow up with FM and B.O teams to ensure quick resolution of issues.

Develop a strong understanding of transmission systems.

Work in a rotating shift schedule to ensure 24/7 network operation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Electronics & Communication).

2-3 years of experience in the telecom transmission field.

Knowledge of 2G, 3G, LTE network architectures, call scenarios, and BSS troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with Ericsson transmission equipment (experience with other vendors is a plus).

CCNA certification is a plus.

Strong proficiency in computer applications.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong English proficiency (spoken & written).

Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly.
