Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Title: Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. 

 

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in managing enterprise IT infrastructure, with strong experience in VMware vSphere, Fortigate firewalls, Cisco switches, Linux systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure 365. 

 

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining our IT environment to ensure stability, scalability, and security. 

Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including virtual machines, clusters, and storage. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortigate firewalls to ensure network security. Administer and optimize Cisco switches and networking infrastructure. Support and maintain Linux servers and services. Oversee Active Directory administration, including Group Policies, DNS, and authentication. Manage Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, etc.). Ensure IT systems’ availability, performance, and security across the organization. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide Tier 3 support when escalated. Contribute to IT strategy, planning, and adoption of new technologies. 

 

Requirements 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems, and networking. Strong expertise in VMware vSphere administration. Proven experience with Fortigate firewalls and Cisco networking. Solid knowledge of Linux administration. Deep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Azure/365) are a plus.
